About MAGDALA PERSIANS

I bought my first two persians from Jewell Halford in Sacramento,
a shell cameo male whom I named
Mi Cielo Jose Martine of Magdala and a shaded cameo
female I named Pink Doll Candelaria of Magdala.
I had to wait til they were 8 weeks old to bring them home. I also bought Gray-Dawn Star Myst of Magdala who was my first Chinchilla Silver male and
to go with him I got Lou's Haven Mistique of Magdala
from Loretta Flanagan in Sacramento, California.
These four cats formed the beginning of my persian
cattery and a life long love of cats. I have since had almost all colors in Persian and Himalayans but the Silvers and Cameos remain my favorites.

My cattery was located in Pacifica, California
We lived a block from the Pacific ocean and I used to love the breathtaking views of the ocean as I
drove home from work each day. I had a lovely deck
on my house where I could sit in the sunshine and
play with my kittens. But I never left them outdoors. They lived in the house with me and slept with me. I remember one kitten who used to wake me
up by patting me on my face with his paw til I'd wake. I did not need an alarm clock for this kitten seemed to know when it was time for me to wake up.
